eero Max 7 BE20800 Mesh Router

The eero Max 7 BE20800 is a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 mesh router designed for whole-home coverage. A single unit covers up to 2,500 sq ft and supports 200+ connected devices with wired speeds up to 9.4 Gbps and wireless speeds up to 4.3 Gbps.

Ideal for multi-gig internet and dense device homes

Households with gigabit or multi-gig fibre plans will benefit from the two 10 GbE and two 2.5 GbE ports. Buyers needing only basic Wi-Fi 6 coverage or a single Ethernet connection may find simpler systems more suitable.

Capacity headroom for 8K streaming and VR

TrueMesh technology routes traffic across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands to sustain 8K streaming and VR/AR experiences. The four Ethernet ports provide wired backhaul headroom, while the 200-device limit defines the maximum concurrent client capacity.

Questions about this item

Do I need an existing ONT, cable or DSL modem to use the eero Max 7?

Yes. The router requires an active internet service with a cable, DSL or fiber ONT modem to provide the WAN connection.

Will my Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E devices work with the eero Max 7's tri-band radios?

The system operates on 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands, so Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E clients connect normally while Wi-Fi 7 devices use the wider channels.

How can I verify the eero Max 7 is delivering up to 9.4 Gbps wired and 4.3 Gbps wireless performance after setup?

Run a speed test from a device connected to one of the two 10 GbE ports for wired throughput, and from a Wi-Fi 7 client for wireless throughput, then compare results to the rated maximums.
