A center channel speaker with an aluminum dome tweeter and dual 6.5-inch aramid fiber woofers in a sealed walnut cabinet for clear dialogue and flexible placement

  • Aluminium dome tweeter with waveguide delivers wider dispersion for consistent high-frequency detail
  • Dual 6.5-inch woven aramid-fibre woofers provide stiff, damped cones for extended low-frequency response
  • Sealed cabinet design allows flexible placement near walls or inside furniture without bass boom
  • Internal bracing reduces cabinet vibration so sound comes from the drivers not the enclosure
  • Magnetically attached grille offers a clean look and easy removal for critical listening

Center Channel for Home Theater

The Elac Debut 3.0 DC63-WN is a passive center channel speaker designed for clear dialogue and effects in a surround system. It uses a 2-way bass-reflex layout with one aluminum dome tweeter and dual 6.5-inch aramid-fiber woofers. The walnut finish suits living-room placement on a shelf or media console.

Amplifier and Placement Check

Verify that your AV receiver or amplifier can drive a passive speaker rated at 140 watts maximum output power. The sealed cabinet allows flexible positioning inside a cabinet or close to a rear wall without port-related boom. Ensure the 21-inch width and 11.7-inch depth fit your available shelf space.

Upgrade From Basic Center Speakers

This model replaces a generic or built-in TV speaker with wider dispersion from the redesigned wave-guide and phase-plug. The aramid cones add stiffness over paper or polypropylene for smoother low-frequency response down to 50 hertz. The jump is worth it when dialogue clarity and timbre matching with Debut 3.0 mains become priorities.

Questions about this item

Does the Elac Debut 3.0 DC63-WN come with speaker wire or do I need to buy it separately?

The box includes the centre speaker, magnetically attached grille, warranty card and quick-start guide. Speaker wire is not supplied and must be purchased separately.

Is the DC63-WN the only centre-channel option in the Debut 3.0 line or are there other sizes?

The supplied data lists only the DC63-WN with dual 6.5-inch aramid-fibre woofers; no other centre-channel models or capacities are mentioned.

How does the 50 Hz low-frequency figure translate to dialogue clarity in a typical living-room setup?

The 50 Hz to 38 kHz response means the speaker reproduces deep male voices and high-frequency detail without a separate subwoofer, and the sealed cabinet allows placement near walls or inside cabinets without boomy bass.
