12 Inch Subwoofer for Home Cinema

The Elac PS350-BK Varro Premium is a powered 12 inch subwoofer designed for stereo and multi-channel home audio systems. It uses a BASH amplifier rated at 350W continuous and 700W peak to drive a treated paper cone woofer with a 2 inch voice coil and high excursion surround. The cabinet is built from MDF with internal cross bracing and acoustic damping.

RCA, Speaker Level and USB Connections

Inputs include RCA line level, speaker level terminals and a USB port for service or firmware updates. The low pass crossover is adjustable between 40Hz and 150Hz, while the frequency response extends down to 21Hz at 108dB sensitivity. A dual 28 Bit DSP with a 147mHz master clock handles signal processing and bass management.

App Guided Setup with Auto EQ

The Sub Control 3.0 app uses a smartphone microphone to measure room response and apply automatic EQ, reducing placement sensitivity. Physical controls remain on the rear panel for crossover, phase and volume. Spikes and a grille are included in the box. The unit measures 16.38 by 16.46 by 17.20 inches and weighs 48.06 units.
