Product Identity

The Elasound LA518 is an AI voice recorder with 64GB storage and a 45-hour battery. It targets students, journalists and professionals who need automatic transcription and summaries in 121 languages. The device records in WAV or MP3 audio formats and weighs 5.3 ounces. A 0.47-inch display provides basic status information during use.

Build Integration

The recorder connects to a smartphone via USB for app control and file transfer. It requires no headphone jack and uses a built-in dual microphone array with noise cancellation. The magnetic case allows quick attachment to metal surfaces. Internal memory holds roughly 7000 hours of audio, removing the need for external cards or frequent offloading during multi-day events.

Sustained Operation

A lithium-ion cell rated at 1.5 watt-hours powers up to 45 hours of continuous recording on one charge. The 6.5-gram battery supports long sessions such as conferences without recharging. Transcription accuracy is rated at 98 percent through the companion app when audio is clear. The unit has no active cooling, so thermal behaviour during extended use is passive.
