Eltron
Desktop direct thermal barcode printer with serial and parallel IEEE 1284 interfaces at 203 dpi resolution
The Eltron Zebra UPS LP2442-P is a desktop barcode and label printer built for direct thermal output at 203 dpi. It connects through parallel and serial IEEE 1284 interfaces for integration with legacy shipping or inventory systems. The unit ships new with an AC adapter supplying 16 VDC at 4.0 A. No labels or ribbons are included in the package.
Direct thermal printing handles 4 x 6 inch ship labels and similar media without ribbons, toner or ink cartridges. The 203 x 203 dpi resolution suits standard barcode, address and compliance labels. Print quality depends on media sensitivity and head condition; very fine graphics or small text may lack detail. The printer is not suited for applications that require thermal transfer durability or colour output.
The included 16 VDC 4.0 A AC adapter powers the printer without a separate supply hunt. The supplier tests every unit and replaces worn parts such as printheads, rollers, belts and motors before dispatch. Printheads are verified to have no lines or dead pixels; platen rollers are checked for cracks, cuts or pits. Media and ribbons remain the buyer's responsibility.

Yes, the printer includes a parallel IEEE 1284 interface compatible with standard 25-pin Centronics cables used on legacy PCs.
Run a self-test by holding the feed button while powering on; a clean test label with sharp bars and no missing lines confirms the head is working.
The unit ships with the AC adapter only; serial or parallel cables and direct-thermal label stock must be purchased separately.
