Portable AM/FM Radio with Bluetooth 5.0

The Emerson EAS-3002-MH is a compact tabletop radio finished in mahogany. It targets listeners who prefer analog tuning and want wireless streaming from a phone or tablet. The 3.7 V 1000 mAh built-in battery allows cordless use around the home or garden.

USB and SD playback plus analog controls

The front panel includes USB and SD ports so stored tracks play without a separate device. A 3.5 mm AUX input and matching headphone jack add wired flexibility. Bluetooth 5.0 In/Out handles wireless audio both to the internal speaker and out to external headphones.

AM 520-1710 KHz and FM 87.5-108 MHz coverage

The analog dial tunes only the standard broadcast bands listed. There is no DAB+, internet radio or weather-alert reception. Output is limited to the 2 W mono speaker, so large-room filling volume is not realistic.

Questions about this item

How long does the built-in 3.7V 1000mAh rechargeable battery last before it needs replacement?

The internal 3.7V 1000mAh battery is not user-replaceable; when its capacity fades after extended charge cycles the unit must be powered via USB or the radio will no longer operate portably.

What limits continuous playback time when running on the internal battery all day?

Playback duration is capped by the 3.7V 1000mAh cell capacity; at moderate volume the battery typically exhausts before the 2W mono speaker overheats, requiring a recharge via USB.

How much heat or fan noise does the 2W mono speaker produce during all-day use?

The 2W mono speaker runs passively cooled with no fan, so it stays warm to the touch but silent; only the analog tuning dial and Bluetooth 5.0 module add negligible heat.
