Portable DVD boombox with 7" screen

The Emerson EDL-2560H is a compact all-in-one boombox built around a 7-inch LCD display for DVD playback. It adds Bluetooth streaming, AM/FM radio, and a CD player that reads MP3 discs, CD-R and CD-RW media. Twin full-range speakers deliver 5W RMS stereo sound. Power comes from a 120V AC adapter, a 12V DC input or eight C batteries for true portability.

7" LCD screen for DVD and media viewing

The built-in 7-inch LCD is the single spec that decides fit: it handles DVD, DVD±R/RW and video from USB or SD/SDHC cards without an external monitor. Composite A/V output lets you mirror playback to a larger TV when one is available. If your use case needs a larger built-in display or HDMI input, this unit will not meet that need.

Runs on mains, 12V DC or eight C cells

Mains power uses the included 120V adapter, while 12V DC suits vehicle or portable power packs. Eight C batteries keep the system running away from any outlet, though battery life varies with volume and disc use. A 3.5mm headphone jack and aux input handle private listening and external sources, while a microphone jack supports karaoke or PA duties. The 17.5 x 9.8 x 6.5-inch footprint fits on a shelf or in a large bag.

What space and power do I need to set up the EDL-2560H?

The unit measures 17.50 x 9.80 x 6.50 inches and weighs 5.63 lbs; it runs on the included 120V AC adapter, a 12V DC source, or eight C batteries.
