Emerson 7" LCD DVD Boombox Lilac

Portable DVD player with digital TV

The Emerson boombox combines a 7 inch LCD screen, DVD and CD playback, and an ATSC digital TV tuner in one lilac unit. Bluetooth streaming, USB and SD card slots, plus AM/FM radio give multiple ways to listen. Twin full-range speakers handle audio, while a remote control lets you operate the player from across the room.

Connections for external screens and audio

An HDMI output sends video to a larger display, and composite A/V output adds compatibility with older televisions. A 3.5 mm headphone jack and 3.5 mm AUX input cover private listening and external sources. A microphone input supports karaoke or voice recording. The cabinet measures 18 by 11 by 9 and weighs 8.4, so it remains portable but needs a stable surface.

Power and media requirements to verify

The unit runs on C batteries or mains power, so confirm you have a supply of cells or access to an outlet for longer sessions. DVD region coding may restrict disc playback, and ATSC reception depends on local broadcast coverage. Check that any USB drives or SD cards use a file system the player recognises before relying on them for movies or music.
