Portable entertainment centre

The Emerson EDL-2870-BK is a blue boombox that combines a 7-inch LCD screen with a DVD player, digital ATSC TV tuner, AM/FM radio and Bluetooth streaming. Twin full-range speakers deliver 5W RMS output for music, movies or broadcast TV wherever you take it.

Power and media readiness

The unit runs from an AC 120V adapter, a DC 12V car cord or eight C batteries, so check which source suits your location. Have USB flash drives or SD/SDHC cards ready for media files, and keep a 3.5mm cable handy if you want to connect an external player through the AUX input.

Build integration

Composite A/V output lets you send video to a larger display while the built-in screen stays available for portable viewing. A 3.5mm headphone jack enables private listening, and the microphone input supports karaoke or voice recording without extra accessories.
