Product Identity

The Emerson EDS-1220 is a 12-inch portable floorstanding speaker rated at 20W. It targets users who want a single, self-contained audio unit for gatherings, karaoke or mobile PA use. A built-in 3.7V 3600mAh lithium battery and trolley system with wheels and an extendable handle support transport and off-grid operation.

Build and Connectivity

The black cabinet measures 14.09 by 11.57 by 22.64 inches and weighs 12.46 pounds. Flame RGB LEDs provide visual effects that react to playback. Inputs include Aux, microphone, guitar, USB playback and TF card slots, plus a supplied wired microphone and remote control with battery. A UL-approved adapter charges the internal battery.

Practical Limits

Audio playback covers an FM tuner range of 87.5 to 108MHz. Bluetooth streaming relies on the source device and local interference. Battery runtime varies with volume and lighting use. The single-channel 20W output suits modest spaces but will not fill large venues. Guitar and microphone levels share the same amplifier headroom.

Questions about this item

What Bluetooth version does the EDS-1220 use and what range does it support?

The speaker streams audio wirelessly from any Bluetooth-enabled device for cable-free playback.

How much space do the 14.09 x 11.57 x 22.64 inch dimensions and 12.46 lb weight need for the trolley handle and wheels?

The extendable handle and built-in wheels let you tilt and roll the 12.46 lb cabinet like a suitcase, so allow clearance behind it for the handle to fully extend.

What is the correct order to pair a phone, insert the 3600 mAh battery, and select the FM band on the EDS-1220?

Charge the built-in 3.7V 3600 mAh lithium battery via the UL-approved adapter, power on the unit, press the mode button for Bluetooth, then pair your phone; for FM, extend the antenna and press mode again to scan 87.5-108MHz stations.
