Questions about this item

How do I install the batteries for portable use?

Open the battery compartment on the back, insert 6 C cells matching the polarity markings, then close the cover securely before lifting the boombox by its handle.

What maintenance will the cassette deck need later?

Clean the heads and pinch roller with a cassette-head cleaner or isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab after every 20 to 30 hours of play to keep recording quality sharp.

What limit appears first during long listening sessions on battery power?

The 6 C cells will run down before the AC cord would, so extended portable use means swapping fresh batteries or plugging into mains power.
