All-in-one portable audio system

The Emerson EPB-4000-BL combines a top-loading CD player, cassette deck with recording, AM/FM radio and 3.5 mm AUX input in a single blue boombox. It plays CD, CD-R and CD-RW discs alongside standard cassettes. The carrying handle makes it easy to move between indoor and outdoor settings.

Detachable speakers and dual power

Two 4-inch speakers detach from the main unit for wider stereo separation and deliver 2.5 W per channel. An X-Bass option adds low-frequency emphasis. The system runs on the supplied AC cord at 110/220 V or eight D batteries for cable-free operation.

Check your media and power plan

Verify that your CDs are standard 12 cm discs and that any cassettes are in playable condition. Confirm you have access to a mains outlet or a fresh set of eight D cells, as batteries are not included. The AUX cable for phone or MP3 player connection is also not supplied.
