Maintenance Bypass POD for GXT5 UPS

The Vertiv Liebert PD5-002 is a power output distribution unit with an integrated maintenance bypass. It supports GXT5 5-10kVA UPS models, allowing service or replacement without interrupting power to connected equipment. It automatically transfers the load to the utility source during UPS failure. The unit replaces the existing POD box on the rear of the UPS.

Output Connectors: Two L6-20R and Two 5-15/20R

The PD5002 provides four output receptacles for load distribution. Two NEMA L6-20R connectors supply locking 20 A circuits, while two NEMA 5-15/20R connectors accept standard 15 A or 20 A plugs. This mix lets you connect both locking and non-locking power cords directly to the bypass unit. A NEMA L14-30P input plug connects the assembly to the upstream power source.

Plug-and-Play Installation

The unit is designed for tool-free installation by sliding into the UPS rear panel in place of the original POD box.
