Modular leak zone sensor

The Emerson Network Power SN-L20 is a Liebert-branded leak detection sensor supplied with a 20 ft (6.1 m) leak cable, a leak connection cable, a CAT5 cable, ten hold-down clips and a quarter-turn fastener. It is designed for monitoring fluid leaks in critical infrastructure environments such as data centres and server rooms. A quick-start guide is included for first-time installers.

Check cable routing and monitoring ports

Before ordering, verify that the 20 ft leak cable can reach the intended detection zone from the monitoring unit. Ensure the monitoring equipment accepts the supplied leak connection cable and CAT5 cable interfaces. Confirm there is space to secure the cable using the ten hold-down clips and the quarter-turn fastener along the planned path.

Replaces basic spot detectors

This sensor upgrades from single-point spot detectors by providing continuous coverage along the full 20 ft cable length, allowing earlier detection across a wider area. The modular design suits installations that need zone-based leak monitoring rather than isolated point checks. The jump is worth it when a single sensor must protect an extended floor perimeter or cable tray run.
