Under-Cabinet FM Radio with Bluetooth

The Emerson under-cabinet FM radio combines a space-saving design with Bluetooth streaming and a built-in clock. It mounts beneath a kitchen cabinet and includes a digital display, 20-station FM memory, and a hands-free speakerphone. The AC adapter is supplied for mains operation.

Who This Suits and Who It Does Not

Kitchen listeners wanting a compact radio that streams audio from a phone and stores favourite stations will benefit. It lacks a headphone jack, an external antenna connection, and battery power, so buyers needing private listening, stronger FM reception, or portable use should look elsewhere.

The Deciding Specification

Bluetooth A2DP support lets you stream music wirelessly from any compatible smartphone or tablet, while the FM tuner with PLL digital tuning stores up to 20 presets for quick access to local stations.

Questions about this item

Does the 4 W speaker stay cool during all-day use?

The 4 W output is low enough that the cabinet-mounted unit runs cool even after hours of continuous playback.

What power source must already be in the kitchen for it to work?

An AC outlet is required; the included adapter plugs into mains power and no batteries are used.

Will my older phone with only a headphone jack play through this radio?

The radio has an auxiliary input jack so any device with a standard audio output can be connected and heard through the built-in speaker.
