Two-Way Radio Pair for Outdoors

The EMERSON WT-K001 supplies two handheld radios built for camping, hiking and road trips. Each unit operates on 22 channels with 121 privacy codes to reduce interference. A water-resistant body and NOAA weather alerts make the set practical for changing outdoor conditions.

Water-Resistant Build and Charging Flexibility

The radios weigh 0.44 kilograms and survive rain or splashes during daily use. Three 1000 mAh Ni-MH AA cells per radio deliver long standby time and recharge via any USB power bank or car adapter using the included micro-USB cable. This removes the need for disposable batteries on extended trips.

Efficient Power Use in Normal Operation

Low current draw from the Ni-MH packs keeps the radios running through full days of voice communication and weather scanning. The receiver monitors 24 NOAA channels silently until an alert triggers the siren. Transmit power scales with distance, so typical conversations stay quiet and cool without extra cooling hardware.
