Dual-port 16Gb Fibre Channel HBA using PCIe 3.0 with a standard bracket
The Emulex LPe16002B-M6 is a 16Gb dual-port PCIe 3.0 Fibre Channel host bus adapter fitted with a standard bracket. It provides two independent 16Gb links for storage-area-network connectivity in enterprise servers. The card is supplied new and carries the HP brand label alongside the Emulex part number.
This adapter operates on a PCI Express 3.0 bus and needs an available x8 slot for full throughput. Builders whose motherboards or risers only offer x4 electrical lanes will see reduced bandwidth. Systems lacking any PCIe 3.0 or higher slot cannot use this card.
Measured against everything we stock in Switch Modules, Transceivers & Add-Ons, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Each port delivers up to 16 Gb/s of Fibre Channel bandwidth, so the adapter can move data on two independent links at that rate simultaneously.
The card plugs into a PCIe 3.0 slot, which provides enough lane bandwidth to sustain both 16 Gb/s Fibre Channel ports at full line rate.
