Pure Copper M.2 2280 Heatsink

This pure copper heatsink fits 2280 size NVMe and NGFF SSDs in desktops and laptops. The 70x20x4.0mm dimensions suit boards with enough clearance around the M.2 slot. A thermal pad and three rubber rings are included for secure mounting without damaging the drive components.

Capacity and headroom

The 4.0mm thickness provides extra surface area for heat exchange with ambient air. It covers controllers on drives such as the 970 EVO, 960 PRO, 950 PRO, PM981 and similar 2280 models. The copper conducts at 401W/mk, far above aluminium at 237W/mk, giving headroom for sustained write workloads on supported SSDs.

Thermals noise and power

Passive operation means zero fan noise and no power draw from the system. The thermal pad fills microscopic gaps between the drive and the copper base to maximise contact. Heat spreads through the copper fins and dissipates into the case airflow, lowering peak temperatures during heavy I/O without adding acoustic load.
