Installation requires a DP++ port and an HDMI cable

Simply plug the DisplayPort male end into the computer and attach a standard HDMI cable to the female port on the adapter. No drivers or external power are needed. The most common issue is connecting to a DisplayPort that lacks dual-mode signalling, which will produce no image. Ensure the source port is labelled DP++ or confirmed dual-mode in the device specifications before purchasing.

Limited to 1080p and single-stream operation

The passive design only works when the source provides native HDMI signalling through the DisplayPort connector.
