SKU CH-B93A-D844R

A 2-in-1 hub connects up to eight PWM fans and eight addressable RGB devices, drawing power from a SATA 15-pin connector and including a 1.3 ft motherboard PWM cable

  • DetailsThe PWM ARGB hub is equipped with two connecting cables. 1.3
  • Key featuresThis is ARGB PWM 2-in-1 8 way hub with SATA 15pin power that
  • 2-in-1 hub controls 8 PWM fans and 8 ARGB devices simultaneously
  • SATA 15-pin power feeds fans and lighting without loading the motherboard
  • 3 ft PWM cable plus 2 ft ARGB cable reach standard motherboard headers
  • Magnetic standoffs and PMMA case secure the hub inside steel chassis
  • IR remote lets you change ARGB effects when motherboard sync is unavailable

What the hub does and who needs it

The EN-Labs PWMARGB8SIR is a 2-in-1 controller hub that combines eight PWM fan headers and eight addressable RGB headers in one enclosure. It draws power from a SATA 15pin connector on the power supply, so the motherboard headers are not overloaded. Builders running water-cooling loops or multiple LED strips can connect up to eight fans and eight 5 V ARGB devices simultaneously. It is not for systems that use 12 V RGB components or for builders who need independent per-device lighting control.

What to verify before ordering

Confirm that your motherboard provides a standard 5 V 3-pin ARGB header or a compatible VDG header for Mode 1 operation. The included cables are a 1.3FT PWM RPM feedback lead and a 2FT motherboard 3-pin ARGB lead, so check routing space inside your chassis. Fans with 3-pin connectors will run at full speed because the hub does not regulate voltage on those pins. The hub is designed for 5 V ARGB devices only and will not function with 12 V RGB hardware.

Behaviour under sustained load

Power delivery comes directly from the PSU via the SATA connector, keeping voltage stable when all eight fans spin up together. The PMMA case and magnetic standoffs hold the hub firmly in a steel chassis, preventing vibration-induced disconnects during long sessions. In Mode 1 the ARGB signal stays synced across every connected device under continuous motherboard control. In Mode 2 the IR remote maintains lighting patterns without software overhead, so the hub runs unattended for extended periods.

Questions about this item

What cables come with the PWMARGB8SIR hub and what must be purchased separately?

The box includes a 1.3FT motherboard PWM RPM feedback cable and a 2FT motherboard 3‑pin ARGB cable plus a wireless IR remote; the SATA 15‑pin power lead from your PSU is required but not supplied.

Which version of the hub should I choose for 5V addressable RGB and 12V PWM fans?

This single model PWMARGB8SIR supports up to eight 5V 3‑pin ARGB devices and eight 12V 4‑pin PWM fans simultaneously; it does not work with 12V RGB components.

What does the 8‑port rating mean when the hub is installed in a real PC?

You can connect eight PWM fans and eight ARGB strips or fans at once, all powered through one SATA 15‑pin connector, with both fan speed and lighting synchronised across every port.
