This 3.3ft internal cable connects a RAID or PCIe controller with an SFF-8087 port to four discrete SATA drives. It is built for administrators and builders who need to attach multiple SATA targets to a single Mini SAS host interface. The forward breakout design supports up to 6Gbps per drive for high-throughput storage arrays.

Build integration and routing

The cable plugs directly into a compatible HBA or RAID card with an SFF-8087 connector and fans out to four SATA 7-pin female ports with latches. P1 to P4 markers simplify drive identification after installation. A woven mesh sheath covers half the length to aid routing inside dense chassis.

Thermals, noise and power
