Resolution and compatibility limits

The converter supports output resolutions up to 1080p full HD and is also compatible with 480i, 576i, 480p, 576p, 720p and 1080i signals. It cannot produce resolutions higher than 1080p, so it is unsuitable for 1440p or 4K displays. Buyers who need higher output resolutions or native digital passthrough should look for a different solution.

Power requirement that decides fit

The adapter draws operating power through a micro USB port and the cable is included in the package.
