Outdoor wireless bridge with 18 dBi gain

The EnGenius EOC655-C18 is a broadband outdoor access point built for point-to-point or point-to-multipoint links. It operates on dual radios with Wi-Fi 6 and ships with a pole-mounting bracket, PoE injector, 1.5 m Cat5e cable and 1.8 m grounding cable.

Suits installers extending a network between

This unit fits projects that need a focused 18 dBi directional signal over distance. It is not for clients wanting omnidirectional coverage, indoor ceiling mounting, or a mesh node that roams with mobile devices.

Check mounting height

Verify that a clear path exists between the two sites and that local regulations allow the effective radiated power. Ensure the PoE injector can reach a protected AC outlet and that the supplied 1.5 m Ethernet run reaches your switch or router.

Questions about this item

Does the EnGenius EOC655-C18 need a PoE-capable switch or will the included injector power it?

The box contains a PoE injector with an AC power cable, so the unit can be powered from a standard mains outlet without a PoE switch.

Can I link this 18 dBi outdoor bridge to an older 802.11n access point on the other side?

The radio supports Wi-Fi 6 and earlier 802.11 standards, allowing a wireless bridge to legacy equipment that shares the same band.

Which LED or indicator confirms the 18 dBi dish is aligned and passing traffic?

The front-panel signal-strength LEDs light progressively as the link locks on, showing real-time alignment quality.
