30 Gallon Open-Head Salvage Drum

The Enpac 1230-YE is a 30 gallon open-head salvage drum moulded from yellow polyethylene. Its screw-on lid uses an HDPE closing ring to seal the top opening. The drum body has a wall thickness of 6.35 mm and stands 30 in tall with a top outside diameter of 22 1/4 in. It carries a UN 1H2/X100/S rating for solid materials only.

Suited for solid containment, not liquid transport

This drum is rated UN 1H2/X100/S for solids, so it fits operations that must overpack damaged packages or hold dry hazardous waste. Facilities needing a UN liquid rating, a lined interior, or bung holes for pumping should select a different container. The unlined polyethylene construction also limits compatibility with certain aggressive chemicals that require a barrier coating.
