Not a voltage converter

This adapter does not change mains voltage and is unsuitable for high-power appliances such as hair dryers or straighteners unless they are rated 100-240V and below 2000W. The AC outlet is protected by a built-in 10A fuse rated for 1100W at 110V or 2400W at 240V. Buyers who need voltage conversion for single-voltage appliances should not rely on this product.

Fuse replacement and plug limits

If the AC outlet stops working the cause is usually a blown fuse; the spare fuse compartment at the bottom can be opened and the fuse swapped. The adapter lacks Type D and Type M plugs so it cannot be used in India or South Africa. Installation is otherwise a matter of sliding the required plug into place and connecting devices.
