MagSafe Car Mount Charger 15W

This MagSafe car mount charger delivers 15 W certified wireless charging for iPhone 12 through 17 series and compatible Samsung Galaxy S25 or S26 models with a magnetic case. It mounts on an air vent or dashboard using the included vent clip and adhesive anchor. The 3.3 ft USB-C cable connects to a 20 W USB-C power source for full speed.

Power Delivery Requires 20W USB-C

The charger only reaches 15 W when powered by a 20 W USB-C to USB-C cable and adapter; a USB-A to USB-C cable cannot supply enough power and will cause the wireless charging to malfunction. Output voltage is fixed at 5 V and the supplied cable is 3.3 ft long. No other cable type or lower-wattage source will enable the rated speed.

Magnetic Hold 1,600 gf

A ring of magnets provides 1,600 gf of holding force to keep the phone secure on rough roads, but this strength is only guaranteed with an official MagSafe case or ESR magnetic case. The mount rotates between portrait and landscape for navigation. Phones from Motorola, OnePlus and non-magnetic Google Pixel models are not supported.

Questions about this item

Does the mount come with a USB-C cable or do I need to supply one?

The box includes a 3.3 ft USB-A to USB-C cable; ESR recommends connecting it to a 20 W USB-C power adapter for full 15 W wireless output.

What does the 15 W rating actually deliver when my iPhone is in the holder?

With a 20 W USB-C adapter and an official MagSafe or ESR magnetic case the charger provides certified 15 W fast charging to compatible iPhone 12 through 17 models.

Is the USB-C port limited to USB 2.0 speeds or does it support USB 3?

The supplied cable uses a USB-A plug rated to USB 3, so data transfer is not the bottleneck; the port’s role here is power delivery up to 20 W for the wireless coil.
