EPOS SC 665 USB Headset for Professionals

The EPOS SC 665 is a double-sided business headset built for professionals who rely on clear voice communication across unified communications platforms. It connects via USB or a 3.5 mm jack, making it suitable for desk phones, mobile devices, tablets and PCs. UC optimisation and Skype for Business certification ensure broad compatibility with major softphone clients such as Cisco, Avaya and IBM. The binaural design helps users stay focused in busy offices or while working remotely.

Check USB Port and 3.5 mm Jack Availability

Before ordering, verify that your target device offers either a free USB-A port or a standard 3.5 mm audio socket for the headset connection. The in-line call control unit draws power and handles audio through the USB interface, so a functioning port is required for full feature access. If you plan to switch between a PC and a mobile phone, confirm both devices support the relevant connection type. No additional drivers are mentioned, so standard OS audio recognition should apply.

Stainless Steel Hinges and Vectran Reinforced Cables

The headset uses stainless steel hinges, brushed aluminium parts and Vectran reinforced cables to withstand daily handling and frequent adjustments. Large leatherette ear pads and a unibody headband distribute weight evenly for extended wearing sessions. An integrated call control unit lets you answer, end, mute, adjust volume and redial without touching the connected device. ActiveGard technology protects against sudden acoustic spikes during calls.

Questions about this item

Does the SC 665 USB headset include both the USB cable and the 3.5 mm jack, or do I need to buy an adapter separately?

The headset provides both a USB connection and a 3.5 mm jack in one unit, so no separate adapter is required for either interface.

Should I choose the binaural SC 665 model or look for a mono version for single-ear use?

This 665 model is binaural with two ear cups; if you need single-ear coverage you would need a different mono headset.

How does the ultra noise-cancelling microphone perform on a busy office softphone call?

The ultra noise-cancelling microphone filters out surrounding background noise so the far end hears your voice clearly during softphone calls.
