The Epson C32C881008 UB-E04 is a Connect-It Ethernet module designed to add wired network connectivity to compatible Epson POS printers. It enables integration with ePOS Print Service for printing from web-based, cloud-based, and mobile applications. A built-in USB port provides additional peripheral support for the printer setup.

10Base-T twisted pair capacity

This interface operates on 10Base-T network technology over twisted pair cabling, delivering standard Ethernet speeds for receipt and label printing tasks. It handles typical POS data volumes such as text, barcodes, and simple graphics without bottleneck. The 10 Mbps bandwidth reaches its limit when multiple high-resolution images or concurrent heavy print jobs are queued simultaneously.

Upgrade from standalone USB or serial

Adding this module replaces a direct USB or serial tether, allowing the printer to sit anywhere on the local network rather than beside a single host. The jump is worth it when the POS layout demands flexible placement, shared printer access across multiple terminals, or cloud-printing workflows that require an IP address. It does not serve printers lacking a Connect-It expansion slot.
