Wrist tool lanyard for drop prevention

The Ergodyne 3115 Squids wrist lanyard secures hand tools to the user with a hook-and-loop wristband and elastic tether. A barrel-lock loop provides a reliable attachment point rated for two pounds. The L/XL cuff fits a range of wrist sizes for comfortable all-day wear.

Sustained-use behaviour on the job site

The elastic tether stretches under load to absorb sudden movement while keeping the tool within reach. Hook-and-loop closure maintains grip through vibration and repeated motion. Webbing cuff resists abrasion from daily contact with surfaces and equipment.

Practical limits of the tether system

Maximum supported tool weight is two pounds; heavier items exceed the rated capacity. The single anchor point suits one tool at a time and cannot accommodate dual-tool configurations. Loop attachment requires a compatible handle or tether point on the tool itself.
