eshinreal 8-Port M.2 NVMe SSD Testing Board expansion card

SKU CH-YB5H-45Y7V

Add-on card tests eight M.2 NVMe SSDs simultaneously over a single PCIe 3.0 x16 link with per-slot power monitoring and hot-swap support for 2280 and 22110 drives

  • Product typeController Card
  • Tests 8 NVMe SSDs simultaneously via PCIe 3.0 x16 host
  • PLX switch distributes 16 lanes automatically without bifurcation
  • Per-slot current and voltage monitoring for power analysis
  • Dual PWM fans and stacked heatsinks manage thermals
  • Hot-swap slots support 2280 and 22110 form factors

8-Port NVMe Testing Board

The eshinreal add-in card provides eight M.2 slots that accept NVMe SSDs for simultaneous validation. It targets SSD manufacturers, enterprise labs and firmware engineers who need to qualify multiple drives in a single session.

Sustained-load behaviour with PLX switching

A PCIe 3.0 x16 host link feeds an on-board PLX switch that distributes 3.0 x4 bandwidth to each of the 16 lanes without requiring CPU bifurcation. Dual PWM fans and stacked heatsinks maintain thermal stability during continuous burn-in cycles, while per-slot current and voltage monitoring captures power data under prolonged stress.

Verify host slot and drive form factors

Confirm the workstation has a free PCIe 3.0 x16 slot and that the operating environment can supply sufficient auxiliary power for eight active drives. Only 2280 and 22110 M.2 modules are supported; other lengths will not fit the carrier.

Questions about this item

How much heat and noise do the dual PWM fans and stacked heatsinks produce when all 8 slots run PCIe 3.0 x4 all day?

The active thermal design uses dual PWM fans and stacked heatsinks to manage heat from eight simultaneous PCIe 3.0 x4 drives during continuous operation.

What host interface and slot type must my system already have for this card to work?

The board requires a single PCIe 3.0 x16 host interface and accepts M.2 2280 or 22110 NVMe SSDs in its 16 total slots.
