Clear 1/3-Cut Hanging File Tabs

These transparent plastic tabs fit Pendaflex hanging file folders and come in a 25 pack with blank white inserts. They are designed for office filing systems that use 1/3-cut tab positions. The clear material matches the colour family of standard Pendaflex folders for a consistent look.

Practical limits of 1/3-cut tabs

Each tab is 3.5 inches wide and accepts inserts with up to three lines of type. The 1/3-cut spacing means only three tabs fit across the folder width, so labelling space is narrower than 1/2-cut or full-cut alternatives. Pliable plastic eases insertion but does not expand the printable area.

Check your folder system before ordering

Verify that your existing hanging folders use 1/3-cut tab slots and accept 3.5 inch wide inserts. These tabs are not compatible with folders cut for 1/2-cut or full-cut positions. Ensure you need clear tabs rather than coloured variants for your colour-coding scheme.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 25-pack or is there a smaller quantity available?

This listing is the 25-pack with blank white inserts; no other pack size is offered here.

What does the 3.5-inch width mean for my hanging folders?

The 3.5-inch tabs span the full width of standard letter-size hanging folders, leaving room for three lines of text.

How do the 1/3-cut tabs work with the clear plastic and white inserts?

Each clear plastic tab takes one white insert; three tabs align side-by-side across the folder for staggered labelling.
