4K HDMI Audio Extractor

The ESTONE 4K HDMI Audio Extractor separates audio from an HDMI source and delivers it through three outputs simultaneously. It passes the video signal onward via HDMI while providing optical TOSLINK and analog RCA stereo connections. The unit supports 4K resolution at 30 Hz and deep colour up to 36 bit per channel. It is suited for home-theatre installations that require audio routing to a soundbar or AV receiver.

Check HDMI version and audio format needs

Verify that your source device outputs HDMI with embedded audio and that your display accepts the 4K 30 Hz signal passed through the extractor. Confirm whether your audio system requires 5.1 channel Dolby Digital or DTS via optical, or only two-channel PCM over RCA. The extractor does not support Dolby Digital Plus, and PS3 consoles are limited to stereo output. Cable runs up to 49 ft with AWG26 HDMI cable are supported.

Sustained operation with LED status

During continuous use the converter maintains stable signal separation without frame drops at the rated resolutions. A red LED confirms power is applied, while a green LED illuminates when a valid HDMI sink is detected. The three audio mode options — Pass, 2CH and 5.1CH — remain selectable without interrupting the video path. The metal enclosure aids heat dissipation during extended sessions.
