15-in-1 USB-C Docking Station

The ESTONE BXS15IN1 is a 15-in-1 USB-C docking station designed to expand connectivity for compatible laptops and tablets. It provides HDMI, VGA, Gigabit Ethernet, seven USB ports, SD and TF card readers, a 3.5 mm audio jack and a wireless charging pad. The unit supports Thunderbolt 3 hosts and works with listed MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Surface and Chromebook models.

Display and interface limits

The HDMI port delivers up to 4K resolution at 30 Hz while the VGA port reaches 1080p. When both video outputs are active simultaneously each display is limited to 1080p. USB 3.0 ports operate at 5 Gbps and the four USB 2.0 ports run at 480 Mbps. The RJ45 port handles 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet and the wireless charger supplies up to 10 W. Power Delivery input is charge-only.

Installation notes

The dock is plug-and-play with no driver installation required for supported Type-C and Thunderbolt 3 devices. A 10-inch tethered cable connects to the host and the reversible design allows the hub to sit under laptops with ports on either side. Buyers whose laptops lack a full-featured USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port will not get video output or full bandwidth from this device.
