USB-A to USB-C cable delivers 120 W charging and 480 Mbps data transfer over 2 m with an aluminium-alloy shell and built-in E-Marker chip
This USB-A to USB-C cable supports up to 120W power delivery with a built-in E-Marker chip. It is designed for users who need fast charging for laptops, tablets and phones that accept USB-C PD input. The 2 metre length gives extra reach for desk or bedside use.
Data transfers run at USB 2.0 speeds of 480 Mbps, so large file moves will be slower than with USB 3 or Thunderbolt cables. The 6 A current rating requires a charger and device that both support 120W PD; otherwise charging falls back to the lowest common standard.
To reach the advertised 120W speed you need a 120W USB-C wall charger and a device that accepts 20V at 6A. Ports limited to lower wattage or cables without an E-Marker will not deliver the full rate. This cable does not support video output or Thunderbolt data modes.
