What this cable is and who it fits

This is a USB-A to USB-C cable rated for 100W power delivery at 20V and 7A maximum current. It includes a built-in E-Marker chip and supports 480Mbps data transfer. The two-pack provides two 3.3FT nylon-braided cords with aluminium alloy connector shells.

Suits Android and USB-C laptop users.

The cable works with Samsung Galaxy S22, S21 Ultra, S20, iPad Pro 2020 and 2021, Xiaomi Mi 11 and 12, Redmi Note 10 and 11, Google Pixel 5 and 6, Nintendo Switch and GoPro Hero 9. It does not support Apple devices or video output, so buyers needing Lightning connectivity or DisplayPort alternate mode should look elsewhere.

The deciding spec is the 100W 20V 7A rating

This single specification determines whether the cable can deliver the full 100W fast charge your device and charger negotiate. Without the E-Marker chip the host cannot safely request 20V at 7A, so charging would fall back to a lower power level.

Questions about this item

What is the difference between the two cable lengths in the pack?

The pack contains two cables each 3.3 ft (1 m) long, so there is no length difference between them.

Will the 100 W rating charge my laptop at full speed?

The cable supports up to 100 W at 20 V and 5 A, so a laptop that accepts 20 V / 5 A over USB-A can charge at its maximum rate.

Does the USB-A connector limit the 480 Mbps transfer speed?

The cable is rated for 480 Mbps, which is the maximum throughput of the USB 2.0 interface used by the USB-A plug.
