Two-Pack USB-C to Lightning Cable

The Essager CGI27W ships as a pair of 6.6 ft blue cables with USB-C input and Lightning output. Apple MFi certification and a C94 connector prevent compatibility warnings on supported iPhone models. Each cable handles up to 27 W power delivery at 3 A and 480 Mbps data transfer. Builders needing USB-C to USB-C or micro-USB ends will need a different product.

Power Delivery Up to 27 W

Connect the USB-C end to any PD charger rated 27 W or higher to reach the advertised 0 % to 50 % charge in 29 minutes on compatible handsets. The cables are backwards compatible with 25 W and 20 W sources, so existing adapters still work at their own limits. No wall charger is included in the pack. Users without a USB-C power source cannot use these cables for charging.

Reinforced Ends Rated 15 000 Bends

Strain-relief collars and a soft rubber neck at each terminus survive over 15 000 bend cycles in supplier testing. The two-cable bundle lets one stay at a desk while the other travels. No cable ties, organisers or carrying pouch are supplied. Buyers wanting colour coding beyond blue or a single longer cable must look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the 3 A maximum current limit cable heating during long charging sessions?

The cable is rated for 3 A maximum current and 27 W power delivery, so sustained use stays within that limit without exceeding the specified rating.

Will the cable get hot or noisy when used all day?

It has no active cooling or moving parts, so it runs silently and heat stays low under the 27 W rating.

What charger do I need to get 27 W fast charging with this cable?

A USB-C Power Delivery charger rated 27 W or higher is required to reach the 27 W fast-charge speed.
