Right-Angle USB-C Cable for Gaming and Media

This two-pack of 6.6 ft USB-C to USB-C cables uses a 90-degree elbow connector so the plug runs parallel to the device edge. The layout keeps the cable out of your hands while you play games, watch video or read on a tablet or phone. Each cable is rated for 20 V and 5 A delivery.

USB 2.0 Data and 100 W Power Limits

The cables carry USB 2.0 signals at 480 Mbps and do not support video output. Power delivery tops out at 100 W via the built-in E-mark chip, which negotiates voltage and current automatically. Quick Charge 4.0 is supported, but higher-speed USB 3 or Thunderbolt data rates are not available on this model.

Replaces Straight-Plug Cables That Snag or Fray

The right-angle design solves the common problem of straight connectors bending sharply at the port during handheld use. Reinforced ends are tested to 35000 bend cycles, and the nylon-braided jacket resists sweat, water and pilling. Buyers who need video-out, Thunderbolt speeds or a single longer cable should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 6.6 ft 2-pack or a different length for my setup?

The 6.6 ft 2-pack gives you two right-angle cables at once, handy for charging a laptop and a phone simultaneously without buying a second pack.

What does the 100 W rating actually deliver when I plug it into my MacBook Pro?

It supports up to 20 V at 5 A, so a MacBook Pro can draw its full 100 W charge rate provided the charger and laptop both negotiate that power level.

The cable uses USB-C — does that mean Thunderbolt speeds or video out?

No, it is a USB 2.0 Type-C cable limited to 480 Mbps data and does not carry video signals; Thunderbolt or DisplayPort alternate modes are not supported.
