Extracts audio from a TV HDMI ARC port to optical, coaxial and 3.5 mm outputs with sampling rates up to 192 kHz
This ESTONE converter extracts audio from a television HDMI ARC port and delivers it through optical, coaxial and 3.5mm outputs. It accepts sampling rates of 32, 44.1, 48, 96 and 192KHz for compatible digital sources. The unit ships with a Type-C power cable and a user manual for immediate setup.
Buyers whose television provides an HDMI ARC connection can route sound to a soundbar, speaker system, home theatre or A/V receiver using digital or analogue cables. The 3.5mm jack is limited to PCM/LPCM stereo so users needing multichannel headphone output should look elsewhere. CEC volume control is not available, so the TV remote cannot adjust external speaker levels.
Optical and coaxial outputs support 5.1CH and remain backward compatible with 2.0CH formats while the 3.5mm port handles up to 2.0CH only. Selecting the correct output path determines whether surround or stereo audio reaches the connected equipment.

Yes, the TV must have an ARC port; without it the extractor cannot receive an audio return signal.
Optical and coaxial support 5.1CH and are backward compatible with 2.0CH, so your existing soundbar will work.
Check the source device or AV receiver display; the extractor supports 32, 44.1, 48, 96 and 192KHz rates and passes the incoming stream unchanged.
