3-port HDMI 2.1 switch for multi-source setups

This ESTONE HDMI switch connects three HDMI sources to a single display, letting you toggle between a games console, a streaming stick and a PC without swapping cables. A push-button on the unit and an included IR remote both change the active input. The box is aimed at living-room or desktop users who want one screen to serve several devices.

Bandwidth ceiling and cable-length constraint

The switch passes up to 48 Gbps per port, which is the full HDMI 2.1 data rate, so 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz are all supported. HDCP 2.3 and 36-bit deep colour are also handled. To keep that throughput clean the manufacturer advises using HDMI 2.1-certified cables no longer than 1.5 metres on each side of the switch.

Metal housing and front-panel control

A durable metal chassis with anti-corrosion finish shields the internal chipset and helps maintain stable signal transfer over long sessions. The tactile source button on the front gives immediate feedback when you cycle inputs, while the IR window lets the remote work from across the room. No external power adapter is mentioned, so the unit draws what it needs from the connected sources.

Questions about this item

How many devices can I connect to the 3x1 HDMI switch at once?

The switch provides three HDMI inputs so you can connect up to three source devices such as a PS5, Blu-ray player and Fire TV Stick simultaneously.

What does 8K@60Hz mean for my gaming monitor or TV?

It means the switch can pass an 8K resolution signal at 60 frames per second, plus 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz, provided your display and cables support those modes.

Does the HDMI 2.1 interface limit bandwidth to 48Gbps in practice?

Yes, each port is rated for 48 Gbps, which is the maximum throughput defined for HDMI 2.1, so the switch will not bottleneck any 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz content.
