Converts HDMI video and audio to composite RCA output at 480i or 576i resolution for older displays
The ESTONE HDMI to RCA converter translates a digital HDMI source into composite video with stereo audio for legacy displays. It accepts 1080P input and outputs standard-definition CVBS at 480i or 576i compatible with NTSC and PAL systems. The adapter suits owners of older TVs, VHS VCRs or DVD recorders who need to connect modern streaming sticks, consoles or laptops. It does not serve buyers who require component, S-Video or HDMI pass-through outputs.
A compact black enclosure measuring 67 by 55 by 20 millimetres and weighing 37 grams houses one HDMI input and three RCA sockets coloured yellow, white and red. The unit draws power from the HDMI source so no external supply is needed and it runs silently without fans. Gold-plated contacts are intended to resist corrosion during repeated insertion. Builders needing rack-mount brackets or locking connectors will not find them here.
During continuous playback the converter maintains a stable CVBS signal at the stated 480i and 576i resolutions without upscaling. The passive design generates negligible heat so temperature remains close to ambient even after hours of use. Audio stays in sync with video across long sessions because the device performs no frame-buffer processing. Users expecting high-definition output or progressive-scan conversion will not get it from this model.

Connect the HDMI source to the input port, then plug the yellow, white, and red RCA cables into the matching composite inputs on your display or recorder; the step people miss is selecting NTSC or PAL to match the target device.
The unit has no moving parts or user-serviceable components; if the HDMI port or RCA jacks become loose from repeated insertion, the whole converter would need replacement.
The output is capped at standard-definition 480i or 576i composite video, so extended 1080p sources are always downscaled to that resolution.
