HDMI to Dual SDI Converter

The ESTONE converter takes a single HDMI source and distributes it to two SDI outputs. It accepts HDMI 1.3 signals up to 1080P at 60 Hz and embeds audio into the serial digital stream. The unit includes a power adapter and is intended for professional video distribution.

Suited for camera and CCTV integration

Installers sending HDMI from cameras or recorders over long coaxial runs will benefit from the automatic HD-SDI and 3G-SDI detection. Buyers needing SDI to HDMI conversion, 4K resolution support, or HDMI 2.0 bandwidth must select a different device.

Dual SDI output with auto format detection

The converter provides two SDI ports that automatically match the incoming HDMI signal to either HD-SDI at 720P 50/60 Hz or 3G-SDI at 1080P 50/60 Hz. Maximum cable reach is 100 metres for 3G-SDI and 200 metres for HD-SDI.

Questions about this item

Does the ESTONE converter stay cool and quiet when it runs continuously?

The unit has no fan and draws little power, so it runs silently and stays cool during all-day use.

What extra cable or power item do I need before the ESTONE converter will work?

A mains outlet for the included power adapter is the only additional requirement; the converter ships with that adapter.

Will the dual SDI outputs on the ESTONE converter drive my older HD-SDI monitor and a newer 3G-SDI recorder at the same time?

Yes, each output auto-detects the signal format, so one port can carry HD-SDI at 720P@50/60Hz while the other carries 3G-SDI at 1080P@50/60Hz simultaneously.
