HDMI to Dual SDI Converter

The ESTONE HDMI2SDI converts a single HDMI source into two simultaneous SDI outputs, supporting embedded audio and automatic format detection. It handles HDMI 1.3 input resolutions up to 1080p at 60 Hz and outputs matching 3G-SDI or HD-SDI signals. The compact unit includes a power adapter and requires no external power supply for operation.

Studio and Surveillance Installers

This converter suits broadcast editors, CCTV integrators and AV installers who need to distribute an HDMI camera or playback signal to two SDI monitors or recorders over long cable runs. It is not for users requiring SDI-to-HDMI conversion, bi-directional signal flow, or support for resolutions beyond 1080p such as 4K or 1440p workflows.

Dual 3G-SDI Output Ports

Two BNC connectors deliver identical 3G-SDI or HD-SDI streams with auto-detection of the input format, enabling runs up to 100 metres for 3G-SDI and 200 metres for HD-SDI. The single HDMI Type A input accepts standard HDMI 1.3a signals with up to eight channels of embedded audio at 24-bit 48 kHz.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the ESTONE HDMI2SDI is converting my 1080p60 HDMI source correctly after connecting it?

The LED indicator lights when a valid signal is detected; both BNC outputs will carry 3G-SDI at 1080p 50/60Hz with embedded audio, matching the input format automatically.

What ships in the box and is anything else required to start using the dual SDI outputs?

The package includes the converter, a power adapter and a user manual; no extra cables or power supplies are needed for the two SDI BNC ports.

Which version should I choose if my camera outputs 1080p at 50 Hz and I need two identical SDI feeds for separate monitors?

The single HDMI2SDI model handles 1080p 50/60Hz input and provides dual auto-detected 3G-SDI outputs, so one unit covers that requirement.
