Two-port bi-directional HDMI switch

The ESTONE OZAB is a compact aluminium switch that lets you route two HDMI sources to one display or one source to two displays. Only one screen shows an image at a time. It suits home-theatre owners who need to swap consoles, streaming sticks or a Blu-ray player without unplugging cables.

Manual switching with 18 Gbps bandwidth

The unit supports 4K at 60 Hz, 1080p at 120 Hz and lower resolutions down to 480i. It passes HDR and HDCP 2.2 signals through its HDMI 2.0b interface. Switching is manual via a button; there is no automatic detection. Audio formats up to LPCM 7.1, DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD are supported.

Check power needs and port layout before buying

Some high-power sources may require the included DC 5 V cable for stable operation. Verify that your source and display both use standard HDMI connectors and that you do not need simultaneous output on two screens. The package includes a 4K 60 Hz HDMI cable and a user manual.

Questions about this item

Should I use this as a 2-in-1-out switch or a 1-in-2-out splitter?

It works both ways — connect two sources to one display or one source to two displays, but only one screen shows an image at a time.

What does 4K@60Hz actually deliver on my TV?

You get 3840 x 2160 resolution at 60 frames per second with HDR and HDCP 2.2 support for protected content.

How does the HDMI 2.0b interface limit what I can do?

The 18 Gbps bandwidth caps you at 4K 60 Hz or 1080p 120 Hz; higher refresh rates at 4K are not possible.
