The ESTONE OZHW2 is a Gigabit Ethernet splitter that turns one RJ45 connection into three active ports. It lets three computers or network devices share a single wired line at the same time. The unit requires the included USB power cable to operate and cannot function without a power source.

1000 Mbps shared across active ports

Each port supports up to 1000 Mbps throughput, but the total bandwidth is divided among the devices that are transmitting simultaneously. The splitter works with Cat 5, 5e, 6, 7 and 8 cables and adds no crosstalk between the signal paths. A USB power connection is mandatory for the gigabit signalling to remain stable.

Plug in power first then connect cables

Installation is straightforward: attach the 80 cm USB power cable to a stable USB socket, then plug the incoming Ethernet cable and up to three outgoing cables into the RJ45 ports. LED indicators show link status for each port. The only common issue is forgetting the power connection, which leaves the splitter completely inactive.
