4K@60Hz HDMI Matrix 4x2 Switch

The ESTONE OZJ2 routes four HDMI sources to two displays at resolutions up to 3840x2160 at 60 Hz. It handles 18.5 Gbps bandwidth and deep colour up to 48 bit for HDR content. The unit includes an IR remote and front-panel buttons for input selection. Installers and home-theatre owners can distribute 4K video and multichannel audio to two zones simultaneously.

HDMI 2.0b and HDCP 2.2 limits

The matrix complies with HDMI 2.0b and HDCP 2.2, capping video at 4K 60 Hz RGB 4:4:4 or YCbCr 4:2:2. Audio extraction via SPDIF, coaxial and 3.5 mm jack works only on output A, as does the ARC return path. Output B passes video and HDMI audio but cannot extract analogue or optical sound. Bandwidth above 18.5 Gbps or HDCP 2.3 sources will not function.

Installation notes and common issues

Connect the 5 V DC adapter before linking sources and displays; the IR sensor requires line of sight or the supplied extender cable. EDID management is automatic but can be forced via the remote if a source refuses to output 4K. The 3.5 mm port never carries ARC, so connect TV ARC only to output A. Forgotten power or swapped output cables cause the most support calls.
