What this LUOM OZJ2 matrix does
The LUOM OZJ2 is a 4×2 HDMI matrix switch that routes four 4K sources to two displays independently. Installers and home-theatre owners can show different 4K@60 Hz content on each screen or mirror the same source across both. It handles HDMI 2.0b signals with HDCP 2.2 and HDR, plus 3D video formats, making it suitable for conference rooms, classrooms or multi-room entertainment setups.
Connections and daily operation
Four HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs sit alongside a Toslink optical port and a 3.5 mm stereo jack for audio extraction from any active source. The front panel offers push-button switching and an IR sensor, while the bundled remote lets users change routing without leaving their seat. EDID management is configurable per input, so each source negotiates the correct resolution and audio format automatically. A 5 V DC adapter powers the unit.
Thermals, noise and power
The aluminium chassis dissipates heat passively; with a maximum draw of 600 mA at 5 V the switch runs silently in normal use. Operating temperature is rated from −15 °C to +45 °C, so it remains stable inside enclosed AV racks or behind wall-mounted displays. No fan means zero audible noise during extended viewing sessions.

Questions about this item
What bandwidth does the HDMI 2.0b interface support and what resolution does that cap in practice?
The HDMI 2.0b ports deliver 18.5 Gbps bandwidth, which caps at 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 8-bit or 10/12-bit with HDR.
What physical space and power connection does the 170×56×24 mm unit need to fit and mount?
It occupies 170×56×24 mm and weighs .175 kg; a DC 5 V supply drawing up to 600 mA is required.
How is the matrix installed and which step do users often get wrong?
Connect up to four sources to the HDMI inputs, two displays to the outputs, plug in the 5 V adapter, then set each output's EDID via the IR remote or front button so the source sends the correct audio format.
