4x1 HDMI switch with audio extraction

The ESTONE OZQ7 routes four HDMI sources to a single display while extracting sound through optical, coaxial and analogue outputs. It handles video up to 4K at 60 Hz with 18.5 Gbps bandwidth and supports HDR10 and HDCP 2.2. An IR remote and 5 V power adapter are included for desktop or living-room use.

Suits multi-source setups needing audio breakout

Home-theatre owners who connect a console, streamer, Blu-ray player and PC to one TV will appreciate the ARC-capable Toslink and coaxial ports for sending sound to a receiver or soundbar. The 3.5 mm jack provides a simple headphone or powered-speaker feed. Buyers who require more than four inputs, HDMI 2.1 features such as 8K or VRR, or decoding of Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD bitstreams should look elsewhere.

Handles four 4K 60 Hz sources

The switch passes 480i through 4K 60 Hz signals at 24, 30 or 36-bit deep colour in RGB 4:4:4, YCbCr 4:2:2 and 4:2:0 formats. HDMI 2.0 cables up to 3 metres work at 4K 60 Hz; longer runs up to 5 metres are supported at 4K 30 Hz. It cannot process DVI signals or decode the high-resolution audio formats it transports.

Questions about this item

Do I need an external power adapter for the OZQ7 switch to operate?

Yes, the package includes a 5V/1A DC power adapter that must be connected for the switch to function.

Will a 1080p source at 60Hz pass through without downscaling on the OZQ7?

Yes, the switch supports 1080p at 50/60Hz alongside 4K resolutions, so a 1080p60 source will pass through at its native rate.

How can I confirm ARC audio is actually returning from my TV through the Toslink port?

Connect the TV to the HDMI output, enable ARC on the TV, select the correct input on the switch, then verify sound plays through a device plugged into the Toslink output.
