The ESTONE OZQ7 routes four HDMI sources to a single display and simultaneously extracts audio through optical, coaxial and analogue outputs. It is built for home-theatre owners who need to connect multiple consoles, streamers or players to one TV or projector without swapping cables.

Bandwidth and cable-length limits

The switch handles 18.5 Gbps aggregate bandwidth and 300 MHz per channel, supporting 4K at 60 Hz with YUV 4:2:0 chroma subsampling. HDMI 2.0 cables are reliable up to 3 metres at 4K 60 Hz and up to 5 metres at 4K 30 Hz; longer runs or full 4:4:4 colour at 60 Hz exceed the available throughput.

Supported formats and headroom

The unit passes 480i through 1080p at 50 or 60 Hz and 4K at 20, 30 or 60 Hz with 24, 30 or 36-bit deep colour. Coaxial and optical outputs return ARC audio including Dolby True-HD and DTS-HD bitstreams, but the switch cannot decode those formats. The 3.5 mm jack provides stereo extraction only and does not carry ARC. Builders needing more than four inputs or full 4:4:4 4K 60 Hz bandwidth will require a different solution.
