Adds seven USB 3.0 ports — four Type-A and three Type-C — via a PCIe x1 slot with 5 Gbps transfer speed and includes a CD driver for Windows XP and 7
This ESTONE PCIE24A3C expansion card adds four USB-A and three USB-C ports to a desktop through a single PCI Express x1 slot. It suits builders who need more front-panel or rear I/O for keyboards, mice, external drives, webcams, printers, scanners, game controllers or VR headsets. Windows 7 through 11, macOS 10.8.2 and above, and Linux distributions including Ubuntu and unRAID are supported. The card fits x1, x4, x8 or x16 sockets on PCIe 2.0, 3.0 or 4.0 motherboards.
Each port runs at the USB 3.0 5.0 Gbps signalling rate, but the single PCIe 2.0 x1 lane caps total bandwidth so simultaneous heavy transfers from multiple devices will share that ceiling. The card relies on a Renesas or VLI controller that requires a driver on Windows 7, while Windows 8, 10, 11, macOS 10.8.2 and Linux load native support. Real-world copy speeds depend on the attached storage and host system rather than the card alone.
The low-profile bracket uses the supplied screws to secure the card in any standard PCIe slot, and the seven ports sit in a single row for tidy cable routing. Backwards compatibility with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices means older peripherals still work without adapters. Note that some MSI motherboards have reported incompatibility, so verify platform clearance before purchase.

The card fits a PCI Express x1 lane and is limited to the 5.0 Gbps USB 3.0 rate, so total bandwidth and power draw stay modest even with every port busy.
A free PCI Express x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot on a motherboard that supports PCIe 2.0, 3.0 or 4.0, plus Windows 7/8/10/11, macOS 10.8.2 or later, or Linux.
Yes, the USB 3.0 ports are backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices, so legacy peripherals and SuperSpeed drives can be used together.
