USB-C male-to-female extension cable

This ESTONE PQ068 cable extends a USB-C connection by three metres while carrying data, power and video. It is built for users who need to reach a desktop dock, VR headset or external display from a laptop or tablet. The male-to-female layout keeps the original port orientation and adds no extra bulk.

Check your host port capabilities

The cable delivers up to 100 W at 20 V and 5 A, but actual charging speed depends on the source charger and the device. Data runs at USB 3.2 rates up to 10 Gbps, so the host and peripheral must both support that generation. Video output requires a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alternate Mode or Thunderbolt; plain data-only ports will not pass a 3840×2160 at 60 Hz signal.

Suits single-cable docking and VR setups

Buyers extending a laptop to a monitor, hub or PSVR2 headset will benefit from the combined power, data and video path. It cannot connect to USB-A or Mini-B ports, and it will not add video capability to a host that lacks Alternate Mode. Users needing longer runs or active signal boosting should consider an active optical alternative.

Questions about this item

Does the box include a USB-C charger or just the extension cables?

The pack contains two 10 ft USB-C male-to-female extension cables only. A USB-C charger, wall adapter or charging cable must be supplied separately.

Should I pick the 10 ft length or a shorter version for 10 Gbps data and 100 W charging?

The listed 10 ft cables are rated for the full 10 Gbps transfer rate and up to 100 W power delivery, so no shorter variant is needed for those speeds.

Will 10 Gbps and 100 W actually arrive at my MacBook through this 10 ft extender?

The cable supports up to 10 Gbps data and 100 W (20 V / 5 A) charging, but real-world throughput depends on the host port, the charger and the cable you connect to the female end.
